FCN volunteers, trustees and staff members represented FCN at the Oxford Farming Conference (7-9 January), which this year celebrated its 90th anniversary.
Our Chief Executive Officer, Jude McCann, was Chair of this year’s conference, with the theme of ‘Growing Resilience’.
FCN sponsored the Oxford Union Debate and Christ Church Dinner on 8th January. Prior to this year’s Debate, Mario Caccamo (Niab), Stephanie Berkeley (Yellow Wellies) and dairy farmer Andy Venables shared their personal cancer stories as part of FCN’s work with Macmillan Cancer Support and our #NipItInTheBud campaign, encouraging more than 300 delegates to prioritise their health and wellbeing.
FCN volunteer Tom York took to the stage on Friday, sharing his own journey of resilience and encouraging our community to embrace change and approach the future with a positive mindset.
Thank you to everyone who attended!
