NFU MUTUAL CHARITABLE TRUST DONATION SUPPORTS FCN’S FRONTLINE SERVICES

FCN is delighted to announce that we are the recipient of a £70,000 donation from NFU Mutual Charitable Trust. This generous donation will support FCN’s core frontline services, including facilitating our volunteers visiting farms, providing pastoral support and being available 365 days of the year via our Helpline. FCN is here to listen and support in confidence on 03000 111 999 or help@fcn.org.uk

Dr Jude McCann, FCN’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “This generous donation will help us in our mission to create a strong, resilient and thriving UK farming community – now and in the future. We thank NFUMCT for its ongoing support for the work of FCN and our volunteer network.”

2025 marks FCN’s 30th anniversary – three decades of ‘walking with’ our farming community through difficult times and periods of change. Our committed volunteers continue to support people through any challenges they may be facing, whether personal or business-related. FCN has been called a ‘lifeline’ by those we have helped.

Our work is increasingly focusing on taking a preventative approach, helping people to plan ahead and explore their options before they reach a point of crisis. Through projects, partnerships, research, community events and other initiatives we are working hard to improve the health and wellbeing of farmers and people living in rural communities and to reduce health inequalities.
