Graham Ashford is FCN’s Regional Support Officer (West Midlands). Earlier this year he heeded the advice of FCN’s #NipItInTheBud campaign with Macmillan Cancer Support, which motivated him to request a series of further tests with his GP following a routine blood test. This showed a raised Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) level. Doctors investigated further and Graham had an MRI scan followed by a biopsy, which confirmed he had prostate cancer.
In this video he tells his story and encourages others to go to the doctor without delay should they notice a change in their health. Graham is now undergoing treatment.
