This is an exciting opportunity available to a person aged 18-35 who is looking to gain Board experience with a leading agricultural charity.

We especially welcome applications from people from underrepresented groups in agriculture including members of the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) community, the LGBTQ+ community and neurodivergent communities.
ย
The successful candidate will attend and be an active participant at our Board meetings in a voluntary capacity (4 meetings in total). FCN will provide an induction, training, travel costs and opportunities for the Apprentice to attend shows and farming conferences in the UK whilst representing FCN.
ย
FCN is a voluntary organisation and charity that aims to improve the health and wellbeing of people in farming and provide support at times of difficulty and change. Our work is helping to create a healthy and resilient future for British farming. Each year we help hundreds of farmers and farming families with a wide array of issues.
ย
We encourage applications to be submitted in a variety of formats, depending on how you feel most comfortable communicating. This could include a written or video application. Please let us know a little bit about yourself and why you would like to be considered for the Board Apprenticeship position with FCN.
ย
Applications are open until 2nd December 2023 and should be sent toย help@fcn.org.uk.
ย
If you would like to discuss this opportunity in greater detail, please email Alex Phillimore, FCN’s Head of Communications and Development, onย alex@fcn.org.uk.
