Suffolk MAP Suicide Prevention Training

Two upcoming training sessions will provide MAP Suicide Prevention Training to people based and working in Suffolk.

MAP training covers, in 2 hours, why people are reluctant to offer help to someone who may be thinking about suicide and how to counteract that. It shows how to ask about suicide and how to co-create a safe plan to help someone keep themselves safe from suicide either as a standalone intervention or as part of a recovery and growth programme.

This training is provided by the Wellbeing Portal on behalf of FCN, YANA and Suffolk County Council Suicide Prevention Team
