The Farming Community Network is delighted to be partnering with The Farm Business Innovation Show 2018, which will return to the NEC Birmingham November 7th & 8th for two days of inspiration, insight and innovation.
Now in its sixth year, the event will see 500 exhibitors fill the hall, 200 seminars covering a multitude of topics, and expert-led panel debates – combining to create an unmissable event with hundreds of ideas for farmers to introduce new income streams through their land and rural business.
Representatives from FCN will also give a talk about encouraging attendees to think about their own mental wellbeing and whether they are "Fit For Business".
The show is free to attend and provides the industry’s most progressive rural entrepreneurs with the inspiration, advice and resources to diversify, innovate and succeed.
Key features of the Farm Business Innovation Show include:
● TESCO discussing how to drive a successful diversification working with retail
● Lord Carnarvon exploring how he transformed Highclere Castle into world-famous estate ‘Downton Abbey’
● Panel debates on how Brexit will affect the future of farming
● Barclays advising on methods of funding a diversification proposal
The venture into rural diversification requires so much more than just a good idea, and to thrive you need to have clear plans, goals and confidence in your choices.
