Devon-based law firm, Beviss & Beckingsale, is raising money to support the welfare of farmers and farming families by hosting a charity ball on 9th February.
With British farming facing significant changes after Brexit, the law firm is determined to support farmers, both with their business and their wellbeing, in preparing for farming life outside of the EU.
The ball will take place at the Deer Park Country Hotel in Honiton, Devon and proceeds will be donated to the Farming Community Network (FCN) - a charity that provides practical and pastoral support to farmers and farming families throughout England and Wales.
FCN has over 400 volunteers, who between them, take on approximately 2,500 cases every year. Approximately 40% of cases are located in the South West.
Mark Carlisle, Partner at Beviss & Beckingsale said: “At Beviss & Beckingsale we are dedicated to the care of all our clients and supporting such a committed charity means we can help just that little bit more. We have strong links with many farming families, for some of whom times are tough and so we feel this is an excellent organisation to support. We are really looking forward to the ball, which we hope will go a long way towards helping FCN in its vital work in supporting the farming community.”
